Our Experience

Lisa has been in the field of animal husbandry since 1990.  Beginning as a kennel manager in high school she worked her way up through the industry by apprenticing at a local groomer in the mid 90s learning the ins and outs of the grooming world as well as breed standard haircuts.  She has attended several seminars by internationally recognized groomers such as John Stazko, Teri DiMarino, Marlene Romani, and Shirlee Kalstone. She has done grooming demos for Waggin Tails Mobile Grooming conversions and has competed at Internationally recognized competitions at Intergroom in NJ and Groom Expo in PA.  From grooming, she moved on to the veterinary world where she worked at a local veterinary hospital for almost 20 years. Deciding to come back to grooming, she partnered with Chris Kelly to purchase Scrub a Dub Doggie for the betterment of pet grooming in the Hackettstown area.
